About me
My name is Elham, and I am a single mother to four beautiful children. Originally from Iran, I grew up in England and now reside in the Netherlands. As an ICCI coach , I am here to help you discover your better self and navigate through life's challenges.
If you find yourself longing for personal improvement, striving to achieve your goals, or feeling stuck without a clear direction, I am here to offer my support and guidance. In the words of the renowned Iranian poet Rumi, "What You Seek Is Seeking You." Sometimes, however, we need assistance in finding that something, and that's where a coach can make a difference.
Throughout my life, I have faced numerous trials and tribulations. As mentioned earlier, I have experienced two major immigrations, each with its own unique set of challenges. The first occurred during my teenage years when I had to put aside self-discovery and adapt to a new country, language, and culture, leaving behind loved ones and friends. The second relocation took place at the age of 21 when, after losing my father to cancer, I had to move to yet another new country for love.
During my 20 years of marriage in the Netherlands, I learned to be independent and resilient. Raising four children, mostly on my own due to my former spouse's demanding work schedule as a medical student, further reinforced my strength. With no support system or family to rely on, and amidst the added challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, I faced new obstacles while raising a teenage boy with ADHD and serious behavior issues.
Through these struggles, I have cultivated compassion and a genuine desire to help others. I listen without judgment and strive to understand the unique perspectives of those seeking guidance. Drawing inspiration from my own therapeutic experiences, coaching studies, and extensive self-discovery literature, I am now pursuing my dream of becoming a coach.
At the ICCI, I have honed my skills as a person-centered coach. This approach empowers individuals to tap into their own innate wisdom and discover effective ways of achieving personal growth and positive change.
Over the course of my journey, I have had the privilege of assisting clients with a wide range of personal challenges. Witnessing their transformative journeys has made all the hard work and dedication worthwhile.
